It is starting to feel fresh in the mornings now, winter feels like it is definately on its way. For a change of scenery and good gallop we took four horses over to Lady Herries on the beautiful Angmering Park Estate. They have a lovely gallop that stretches to just over a mile, so a really good test of fitness. We took over Parigino who worked very well with Pascha Bere. Then Fairy Rath and Tullamore Dew. Fairy Rath has certainly come on for his run. The plan with Parigino now is to run on the flat first, following last season’s disappointing introduction to hurdles.
Tullamore Dew will hopefully go for the valuable handicap chase at the first Ascot meeting. Pascha may also run at the first Ascot meeting or on the flat at Newmarket.
We were pleased with the way Christopher Wren jumped at Towcester, he just needs to sharpen up a bit, he is a very laid back character and this can show in his jumping.
