A drizzly day at Kempton but we were thrilled with Dollar Bill’s run in the Juvenile Hurdle where he ran on to finish third. Dennis was very pleased with him and said he is really getting to know the horse and that he will really come on mentally for the run.
Oscar Papa was disappointing running in snatches, he just did not love the fences yesterday, really slowing himself up before each one. So a tricky one, need to get him confident with his jumping, may be have him out front next time.
This week we have General Kutuzov on Monday having his first run this season, which he normally needs but we aim him for Fontwell on the 17th of November. On Wednesday we have Old Dreams in the bumper at Fontwell who we expect a big run from. She is a tough , genuine mare and won’t mind the ground.
