On Saturday we were really pleased with Fairy Rath’s run to finish third at Chepstow.
On Sunday at Wincanton, Special Agent Alfie was very disappointing on his hurdle run. On reflection it was the first race where things have not gone his way, they went to quick from the off for him to make the running and he struggled with the turn of foot. We will go back to the drawing board and find another race for him. He has been very quiet since his run so he just may be was not 100% himself.
Christopher Wren continues to be disappointing this season, we have not found the key to him yet. We have no doubt he is a nice horse. However on a positive note we are really looking forward to seeing Tullamore Dew run at Ascot on Saturday and hopefully Dollar Bill, Kuilsriver and Murphy will run on Sunday depending on how they work tomorrow.
On Monday we have entered Pascha Bere at Kempton and have stepped him up to two and a half miles, now he is a bit older we hope he will get it. One thing is for sure he will give it his best shot.
