News Update 3rd October-Schooling to Music

We started the day off with a very succesful schooling morning, taking advantage of the ground.  Dennis O’Regan came in and we schooled around 15 horses.  Rob  McDowell our pupil assistant also schooled with Dennis.  Well you have all heard about dressage to music and dancing horses…you are now watching schooling to music!  The horses are Fairy Rath in front (Chestnut/White Blaze) with Kuilsriver upsides.  Oscar Papa is following behind.

We have horses entered on Friday and Saturday at Fontwell, it looks like the ground will be on the soft side of good.  On Friday Fairy Rath is entered , he may run in the novice chase, which will be his first time over fences.  He has schooled very well at home and he will not mind the ground.  Whether he makes his Chasing debut at Fontwell will depend on how the race pans out.

Also on Friday we plan to run Special Agent Alfie who has really strengthened up over the summer, he will hopefully run in the handicap hurdle and should be competitive.  He will not mind the ground.

On Saturday we  have entered ‘To live‘ in a novice hurdle for J.P.  If he runs it will be very interesting, his first run over the English Hurdles.  He won a hurdle in France, the ground should be no problem and we are hopeful of a pleasing run.

Royal Wedding hopefully will run on Saturday in the handicap Chase, returning to the scene after his greatest race on Will and Kate’s wedding day.  The race may come a bit soon for him, but he is on great form.

Reste Jeune is also entered on Saturday, he schooled very well this morning and hopefully will make up for his early departure at Plumpton last week.
